This year’s General Assembly is more than a milestone, it’s a convergence of stories, people, and ideas that have shaped our journey as one of PLM’s most dynamic tech organizations. Under the theme “Elevate Ideas for Innovation,” the event highlights how GDGoC PLM continues to empower student developers and innovators to create meaningful change through technology.

GDGoC TUPM Lead, ‘25-’26

Kien Serapio serves as the President and Chapter Organizer of Google Developer Groups on Campus - TUP Manila and the Head of Creatives for DEVCON Manila, currently working as a Full Stack Developer and Studios Intern at DEVCON Jumpstart Internships. He has also gained professional experience with EasyBus PH and Globe Telecom as an intern, contributing to projects that enhanced UI/UX design, website accessibility, and digital media performance. Kien has led and organized multiple tech events and hackathons, supporting hundreds of students in the developer community. His notable project, Keyraoke, a music-based typing game, won Champion at the Aral Arcade Game Jam by Kwentoon.

Sonya Lee is a tech student and community builder who serves as National University Manila’s first Notion Campus Leader and a lead organizer of Notion-Legarda. Recognized as a PH100 2025 honoree, she is distinguished as one of 100 Filipinos under 30 making a significant impact in the tech ecosystem. Sonya previously held several leadership roles at GDG on Campus NU Manila, including Campus Organizer, Vice President (External), and Chief Technology Officer, where she fostered collaborative learning environments for students. Beyond campus, she is a Core Volunteer for Python Philippines and currently co-leads the Emcee Committee for PyCon Asia 2026, continuing her mission to strengthen and support the broader developer community.
